Attendance & Voluntary Withdrawals

A. CLASS ATTENDANCE

Regular attendance is expected from all students of Saint Michael College of Hindang Leyte.

An instructor may initiate protocols to ban a student from attending classes and final examinations and/or from receiving credit in the following situations:

  • Unexcused absences exceed those permitted by the faculty or school regulations
  • Failure to submit satisfactory assignments
  • Voluntarily engaging in unsafe practicuum

B. COURSE & PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL

Voluntary Withdrawal

A course may be dropped during the set registration revision period which extends two weeks from the first day of classes in both terms. Courses officially dropped during this period will not be recorded on the official Transcript of Records and will be subject to the CHED-approved policies governing refunds.

Voluntary withdrawals made after the registration revision period ends will be subject to approval and will be recorded on the official Transcript of Records. A student will not be allowed to drop a course after the Midterm examination period. Courses dropped during this period will not be subject to any refunds.
